 The PartyLite accessories you buy will last a long time with the correct, though minimum, attention. Your Consultant can answer questions about care of individual pieces. Often, you'll receive an insert inside the box that gives you specific details about how to care for that item.
Some general suggestions:
Crystal, and most other glass pieces
Clean by hand with a soft cloth and gentle dishwashing liquid. Don't place fine crystal in the dishwasher. Lead crystal turns cloudy in the dishwasher from the alkaline in the dishwasher detergent.
Occasionally, a glass item will be food-safe, and safe in the dishwasher. For further details, refer to the catalogue, or ask your Consultant.
Porcelain, bisque or hand-painted
Ceramics, glazed or unglazed
Dust with a soft cloth, remove finger marks with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. Don't place these items in the dishwasher.
Brass
PartyLite brass products are lacquer finished, so don't use harsh soaps or abrasive cleaners that will strip the finish. Clean gently with a soft, damp cloth.
Wrought iron, pewter, brushed aluminium
Dust with a soft cloth, avoid abrasives. Don't place these items in the dishwasher.
